Shelly’s fitness journey began in college, driven by a desire to shed the “Freshman 15” weight gain and avoid purchasing new pants. It was during a Zumba class that she discovered her deep love for group fitness. Recognizing the profound impact of physical health on mental well-being, Shelly felt compelled to share her passion with others.
Swiftly transitioning into a group fitness instructor role, Shelly dived headfirst into teaching a diverse range of classes, including kickboxing, cycle, barre, water aerobics, yoga, TRX, and meditation. Her expertise expanded further as she attained certifications in Personal Training and Health Coaching through the esteemed American Council on Exercise. To bolster her knowledge, Shelly pursued a Masters Degree in Public Health, solidifying her understanding of holistic well-being.
Currently serving as a dedicated Wellness Coordinator at a law firm, Shelly has amassed a decade of experience empowering individuals to achieve their fitness and wellness goals. With CFG as her cherished sanctuary, Shelly has been an active member for nearly five years. Since January 2022, she has also been sharing her coaching prowess with the CFG community, relishing the opportunity to contribute and uplift others in their fitness journeys.
