Our Functional Bodybuilding classes take place Monday through Friday at 9:30 AM, led by one of our experienced CrossFit Golden trainers. Alternatively, this program can be followed during any CrossFit class as a substitute for the regular CrossFit workout.
If you’re new to Functional Bodybuilding, this program focuses on trading high-intensity metabolic conditioning (metcon) for enhanced hypertrophy and aesthetic gains. Each session includes functional strength movements, paired with bodybuilding-style accessory lifts to support well-rounded fitness.
Functional Bodybuilding programming is available Monday through Friday. Participants have the flexibility to join the 9:30 AM class or complete the workout during any other CrossFit session. When opting to perform Functional Bodybuilding during other class times, please ensure you reserve a spot in a “CrossFit” class to maintain our 18-person class limit. Progress tracking can be done through the “CFG FB: RESULT LOGGING ONLY” program in Wodify.
Outside the designated 9:30 AM Functional Bodybuilding class, coaching support will be more limited. While our CFG coaches will be available to monitor for safe movement and answer any questions, their primary focus will be on the corresponding CrossFit session.
