CFG Cross Training is our strength-focused class built for real life and real athletes. While CrossFit is designed around the sport of fitness, Cross Training narrows the focus to building durable, usable strength that carries beyond the gym. This is not bodybuilding, powerlifting, or strongman—though we intelligently borrow from all three. It’s also not about chasing 1RM numbers at the expense of movement quality or longevity. Instead, we train to improve absolute strength, strength endurance, force production, and joint range of motion—so you can perform better in the activities that matter most.

In class, you’ll see movement in multiple planes, plyometrics and isometrics, heavy strength work, strength endurance pieces, and unilateral training just as often as bilateral. It’s designed so a 25-year-old and a 55-year-old can train side-by-side—each scaling appropriately while honoring the intended stimulus. The goal is simple: build resilient, capable athletes who are strong for hiking, running, biking, hunting, carrying groceries, carrying kids, and everything in between.

CFG Cross Training is offered five days per week, with best results seen when attending 3–5x per week. It also pairs extremely well with our CFG Running Programs launching this spring, making it an ideal foundation for endurance athletes looking to improve strength, durability, and performance.
